Turkey brought to the visa requirement

Japan has imposed a visa requirement for Turkish citizens due to the coronavirus epidemic and banned tourist travel.

The letter sent to the relevant institutions and organizations from the General Directorate of Consular Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs made the following statements:

"In the attached Note, a sample taken from the Embassy of Japan in Ankara, it is noted that our citizens will need to travel to Japan on a visa as of October 1.

The embassy official, who was interviewed on the subject, stated that the application should be considered as an action deemed necessary to be taken within the scope of the epidemic, and stated that touristic travels to Japan will not be possible, however, all official passports will be exempt from visa.
